Google Authenticator works with 2-Step Verification for your Pinboard Account to provide an additional layer of security when signing in.

With 2-Step Verification, signing into your account will require both your password and a verification code you can generate with the Google Authenticator app.

Once configured, you will be asked to enter the verification code once every 14 days.

1. Add Pinboard to Google Authenticator

Open Google Authenticator and add Pinboard by scanning the QR Code:

2. Enter the 6 digit code that Google Authenticator generates

Verify that Pinboard is added correctly in Google Authenticator by entering the 6 digit code and then click 'Sign in'.
